This works with all the verses, although not all of them are recorded.
holly, thanks for the reminder. i remember this version. it’s beautiful! do you have a leadsheet?
I do. Do you have someplace to post it? I’ll email it to you.
I have come to appreciate Stuart Townend’s version…I think you can access it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98br3RuMrJE (I’m a little freaked out by youtube versions of things…but I think this one gives an okay idea of the song.)
andrea, thanks for this! I’m listening to your CD now…what a great project. Brian Moss is a great friend. blessings to your work up in Vancouver.

I have two favorite hymn texts based on Psalm 23:
Henry Baker’s “The King of Love My Shepherd Is,” which you listed
Isaac Watts’ “My Shepherd Will Supply My Need” – a great setting, and no less theologically rich than you’d expect from Watts; I particularly love the last stanza
Steven, of course! I can’t believe I forgot to add Watts version. I particularly love his text with RESIGNATION from the Southern Harmony.
