Doxology and Gloria Patri

Just to round out the list:

Traditional Doxology [lead sheet]

Praise God from whom all blessings flow;
Praise him, all creatures here below;
Praise him above, ye heavenly host:
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
Amen.

 Gloria Patri [lead sheet]

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost;
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
World without end, Amen, Amen.

  1. We’ve got the Gloria Patri in the key of F … I like that better, nicer for sopranos to sing. :) I think we sing it in D @ church though. I wish we sang more stuff in Latin, I know that we’re trying not to be Catholic, but Latin is prettier than English, and a lot of the time, more expressive. They were a very emotional people. ;)
