Songs for Ephesians Series

This Fall at Christ the King we are working out way through the book of Ephesians.  Below are a list of songs we will be singing that reflect many of the important themes in Ephesians. (ESV Study Bible – (1) Christ has reconciled all creation to himself and to God, and (2) Christ has united people from all nations to himself and to one another in his church.)  This list will grow as we move through the fall.  This list will be especially helpful when you find that these songs are new or unfamiliar.  Read the texts, listen to the music and pray Christ the King would grow in its realization of what it means to be the church, the body and bride of Christ.

*Here is an excellent article with themes and traditional hymns for a series in Ephesians from Reformed Worship magazine.  I used many of these themes in helping to pick songs in our repertoire, and was also inspired to re-tune a few texts unfamiliar to my congregation.
