High Street Hymns has just released a brand new CD “Hearts and Voices” perfect for the Easter Season coming up. It is a great mix of tunes and textures. I appreciate the care that Alex Mejias, the primary songwriter and founder of High Street Hymns, takes to craft songs for the church. Songs that match their texts and are easily accessible for congregational singing. High Street Hymns, like a number of other great projects coming out this year are taking the work of Indelible Grace and Red Mountain Music and situating them closer to the sung realities in most churches. Great stuff and really encouraging.
